Welcome to my website and the Sunshine Coast lifestyle!

A guide to the lifestyle, scenic environment, attractions, facilities and activities available on Australia's Sunshine Coast, for all those residents, holidaymakers, visitors, tourists and others who like to get out and be active.Brian Quigley 2003. Click to see some personal web stories Over 600 links to useful information.

My wife Catherine and I have recently moved 100km north from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia to Buderim on the Sunshine Coast, a popular tourist area famed for its beaches, rivers and spectacular hinterland. It is also a favourite place to enjoy the friendships, activities, scenery and lifestyle that attract so many retirees like us. We've already made many new friends through the National Seniors Association (Buderim Branch), Buderim Bowls Club, the Probus Club of Buderim , the Maroochy RSL Computer Club and even the regulars who go bodysurfing every morning at Mooloolaba Beach. It's a great lifestyle in an almost perfect climate with many community groups that provide educational, recreational and social opportunities. Service clubs such as Rotary and Lions are active in most local areas.

For more information on holidays and the lifestyle on the Sunshine Coast, including beaches, sports, recreation, health, trips, computers, links and other interests, check out the other pages of my web site. I've included maps and links to many other sites I've found useful. Click on most of the images to enlarge them or follow links.

Regular visitors will see that I've added a Site Map to make it easier to get an overall picture of the site. Do go exploring and check out some of the many links to other sites, including new links to Queensland Air Museum, Ski and Skurf Cable Water Ski Park and Sunshine Coast Skydivers.

See the new item on Surf Life Saving Clubs on the Beaches page, with links to club websites on the Links page and direct links to beach web cams.

Visit my new Gardening page. You'll find the link on the Recreation page. Lots of links to gardening sites with information relevant to the Sunshine Coast and hinterland.

New Look for this sign for new items on the Computers and Links pages. There is also a new section in the Health page on Online Health Resources, including Nutrition and Diet. I'll keep adding new health resources to this section. The most recent addition is a section on More General Science Sites.

An especially useful source of all sorts of information for Australian seniors is the about Seniors site.
Over 60s may also like to visit the University of the Third Age (U3A) website or join U3A.

When you've explored my website, please give me your honest feedback so that I can develop it further. If you have any comments, suggestions or questions, or would like me to include a link to your site, please e-mail me at sunweb(at)dodo.com.au. (Type @ for (at) to minimise spam.) I have checked all the links, but if you find any broken, please try again in a day or so and e-mail me if they are still broken.
