 Web Stories

Try these links for a few personal stories that have somehow made it onto the web without me knowing it until I did a Google search. You might be surprised at what would turn up if you typed your own name into a Google search. I had to type "Brian Quigley"+Queensland to eliminate most of the false leads.

First-Class Matches - My history. A history of all first-class cricket matches ever played is available on the CricketArchive site. More interesting cricket history is on the Bradman Copyright Materials site.

MuraliSpin - an interesting account of the controversy over Murali's bowling action. I suffered a similar fate, being called for throwing from the bowler's end in the match prior to the famous drawn test against the West Indies (see Page 2). Bradman's comment on being called from the bowler's end echoes my sentiments at the time (Page 3).

Biorhythms Cause Australia - NZ Tensions - this article from The Skeptic (Page 3) managed to link my research into biorhythms to the famous underarm bowling incident in a one-day game between Australia and New Zealand. You'll need Acrobat Reader to read this PDF file.

"Biorhythms" and men's track and field world records - Google has a new search service to search scholarly literature and research journals. Go to http://scholar.google.com. If you type in biorhythms+quigley you will find an abstract of my research on biorhythms and world records.
